Re: Feng Shui

Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese belief that luck and prosperity can be affected by possessions in our environment. Feng Shui focuses on chi energy, or life force energy. Feng Shui aquariums are common items in homes that are laid out according to Feng Shui basics.
The movement of fish and water in an aquarium activates and enhances chi energy in your home. An aquarium designed according to Feng Shui basics can bring good luck and wealth to a household. Fish help with positive Feng Shui energy by cleansing a home of negative energy.
It is of vital importance to place a Feng Shui aquarium in the proper position in the house. One of the best Feng Shui tips to promote wealth is by putting an aquarium in the eastern portion of the house. Try to find a location for the aquarium that has natural daylight. The front of the house is the best location. Avoid putting the aquarium in the rear of the house.
The best shape for a Feng Shui aquarium is circular. If you can't find a circular shaped fish tank, use a rectangular aquarium. Avoid square shaped aquariums, as they clash with the water element in Feng Shui.
For best Feng Shui results, be sure to have an aerator that creates bubbles in the aquarium. This greatly enhances the Feng Shui chi energy. Be sure to keep the water clean in your Feng Shui aquarium.
Traditional Feng Shui practice is to place orange fish in your aquarium along with one lone black fish. Avoid using red fish in an aquarium used for Feng Shui. The color red represents fire. Fire clashes with the water element in an aquarium. Silver colored fish are fine. Fish help absorb any negative energy present in the home.
Black fish are especially sensitive to negative energy, in particular the Black Moor goldfish. If you have problems with Black Moor goldfish dying, check basic conditions of the aquarium, such as water temperature and proper operation of the aerator. If your aquarium has the proper conditions, but the Black Moor goldfish still die, there is negative energy present in the house.
The Chinese have a Feng Shui tradition when moving into a new home. They place an aquarium near the entry of the home. Then they place some Black Moor goldfish with one orange goldfish in the aquarium. The Black Moor goldfish absorb any negative energy left behind by the previous owners. If any fish die, be sure to replace them promptly. Keep replacing the Black Moor fish until they no longer die.
If you wish to increase wealth by using Feng Shui tips, make certain that you have the correct number of fish in your Feng Shui aquarium. To bring wealth into a home, keep 1, 6, or 9 fish in the aquarium. Avoid having 2, 5, 7, or 10 fish together in an aquarium.
To help further enhance wealth, Feng Shui believers place nine metal coins into the aquarium along with the fish. If you decide to use this Feng Shui tip, make certain that the coins won't harm the fish in the aquarium.
Adding an aquarium to the home is one of the most popular Feng Shui tips. Notice how many Chinese restaurants feature prominent aquariums, usually near the front entrance. Try adding a Feng Shui aquarium to your home and see what happens.
